The story behind GrabTech Australia

Built by a 4WD enthusiast. For 4WD enthusiasts.

Hey, I’m Campbell. GrabTech started with a frustration I knew all too well: adding another accessory to my 4WD meant dealing with more wires, more switches and a dashboard that looked less and less like it should.

A passion for getting out there — not just selling accessories

I’ve spent more than 12 years building, modifying and driving 4WDs. I love getting out on the tracks, putting a setup to the test and figuring out what actually makes a difference when you’re behind the wheel.

But one thing kept getting on my nerves: wiring accessories into the cabin. Running cables through the firewall, finding another spot for a switch panel and drilling into otherwise tidy interiors felt like a compromise every time.

I kept thinking: surely there’s a cleaner, smarter way to control everything?

That question became GrabTech. I wanted a practical system that suited the way I use a 4WD, kept the interior looking right and put the controls where they’re easy to reach.

Not another gadget for the sake of it. Something I’d be happy to fit to my own vehicle.

MADE FOR REAL 4WD BUILDS

LESS CLUTTER.
MORE CONTROL.

The idea that became GrabTech

Control your accessories. Keep your interior clean.

GrabTech brings a six-channel wireless control panel into a vehicle-specific grab handle. It’s designed to sit naturally in your 4WD, rather than adding another bulky switch panel to the dash.

  • Six-channel control: Manage up to six connected accessories from one place.
  • Wireless handle: The handle communicates with a separate control box, without running switch wiring through the firewall.
  • Factory-style fit: Vehicle-specific designs made to complement compatible interiors.
  • Personalised setup: Customisable switch icons and a USB-C rechargeable handle.

Thanks for backing GrabTech.

Whether you’re building your first touring setup or you’ve been modifying 4WDs for years, I know how much time and effort goes into getting everything just right.

GrabTech is my way of making one part of that build simpler, tidier and more enjoyable. I appreciate every person who takes a look, asks a question or chooses to fit one.
